Hello summer staffer! Below, you will find several resources to use to communicate with your family and friends about your summer ministry. 

Our goal with this page is: 1. Help you enlist prayer support and 2. Help you present the scholarship fund to those who may be able to help financially. Not all of you are wanting the scholarship (for college or “next steps” educational expenses only) but all of you should tell folks about your summer ministry so that they can pray for you!

The prayer list form is a jotform that allows folks to let us know they would like weekly praises and prayer requests from us or a photo prayer card of our team. The pledge cards for downloading are options for folks who prefer mail over internet options for both the prayer list and the scholarship donations. Print and make them available to your church family! 

The scholarship fund tab is a link to the donation page. They can designate their gift to go towards your scholarship or just to the general scholarship fund for us to divide among those with needs. 

The downloadable letters and the email template are for you to use to hand out, mail or email. The “letter to pastor” is from our executive director and introduces him to our ministry. We would encourage you to share with your church what you will be doing this summer. Many summer missionaries do this and that is exactly what you are! If you do this, consider printing off some of the letters and pledge cards to make them available. 

Download the email template, customize it (I highlighted some things you need to edit/customize) and then email it to everyone that has invested in your life. They will be thrilled to know how the Lord is directing you this summer! (Rather than copy a list of email addresses in the “to” line consider a mail merge or use the “bcc” line. Many email services will block emails to multiple addresses in order to try to cut down on spam.)
