What should I bring to stay at Camp Assurance?

For a week-long camp, please see the Summer Camp Brochure.

 For a typical retreat:

  • Bedding for a bunk bed [sometimes sleeping bags are too hot]-Set of sheets, blanket(s), pillow in case
  • Pajamas/Night gowns or sweats & shirt
  • Two towels, toiletries, wash cloth, soap and shampoo, bathrobe or sweats and shirt
  • Two changes of clothes for recreation [Covered to knee when seated, please]
  • Couple pair of comfortable shoes - sneakers are great - one pair of "golden moldies" for creekwalking/getting muddy [If horseback riding is offered, a pair of boots or shoes with a heel is very helpful]
  • Jacket for night games/cool weather [hat and gloves in Winter]
  • Bible, notebook and pen
  • Flashlight

To ride Zippy or horses you need pants or longer culottes - not a skirt.
