Donations

Thank you for considering helping meet ministry needs at Camp Assurance. Please note that your tithe and regular missions commitment should go to your local church. We do appreciate those who sacrificially give beyond that to Camp Assurance's ministry of presenting Christ to see people, especially children, get saved, grow spiritually, and serve the Lord with their lives.
Listed below are specific projects to which you can designate your gift(s). Of course the camp can always use additional general needs support too! Any gifts not otherwise designated go into the General Fund.
These are also good ideas for Sunday School classes or other church groups or families to consider helping with. Thank you in advance for whatever you choose to do.

Scholarship Assistance for Campers
Marguerite Warner served for many years as an officer in the Assurance Area Women's Missionary Association. Scholarship funds provide those who respond to ads in public media with a big chunk of their Camp Assurance  registration fee. Campers are chosen with preferences given to single-parent or veterans' homes.

Summer Camp Staff sacrifice their summers to serve the Lord and campers. The Staff Assistance Fund for Education is divided the last week of camp between the summer missionaries who are in high school or still paying for college. By raising $5,000 we can give each summer staff missionary $25 per week for 8 weeks. What can you give to be a blessing to these young servants?

The Master's Plan Building Fund - Duplex Cabin Fund
The Master's Plan Building Fund encourages individuals, church groups, or businesses to give $25 per month or a one-time gift of $300 or more. These funds are set aside for work to complete The Master's Plan for Camp Assurance. The Master's Plan outlines the developments to be made over the next twenty years to improve Camp Assurance's ministry to children and churches.
Donors to this project receive a beautiful, limited-edition coffee mug as a big "THANK YOU!" for helping us make Camp Assurance even more "A Fun Place, Preparing People for Eternity."

The Whippoorwill Trails Horseback Riding Program
The Whippoorwill Trails Horseback Riding Program currently cares for 10-12 horses, throughout the year. They require veterinary checks periodically for shots and other health needs. Also, a farrier comes to care for the horses' hooves. At times, it is necessary to supplement their pasture grazing with grain in order to maintain a healthy weight. There are many expenses with the horse program, however, it is one of the most enjoyed activities and continues to draw many campers to the camp property.
