2016 Improvement Projects
Water Filtration Building & SystemThe camp water is high in iron and is known to have a bad taste. However, thanks to many generous donors, a number of volunteers, and a local contractor group, the camp had a Water Filtration System installed. The system has several different filters in order to remove the iron and leave clean, fresh drinking water.
NEW Maintenance OfficeThe current Maintenance office, located in the dining hall facility, is moving to the front of the Water Filtration Building. This new office will provide space to work on projects and fix camp equipment indoors.

Hawk's DeckMany people had a part in seeing camp build an observation deck, beyond the basketball court. Some people provided materials, some people prepared the hillside and installed the posts, while others constructed the structure. The deck will provide a great view of the zipline as well as the creek below and serve as a conversational gatering point for guests.

Basketball Hoops & LandscapingThree brand new Baketball hoops were installed.
Railroad ties around the Basketball court were removed and new brick pavers were installed.
